This major is the oldest in the school. Almost 60 years ago, they were physician assistants, caregivers, and somewhat later, nurses. The profession of nurse technician provides the broadest education, so nurses are able to work in almost all departments and positions in the field of health and social care. Students acquire education through general and specialized subjects. They are studied through theoretical and practical classes that are carried out in school offices and the city hospital. Theoretical classes in specialized subjects are taught by professional associates, doctors specializing in surgery, infectious diseases, internal diseases, epidemiology, biochemistry, gynecology, neuropsychiatry, and pediatrics. Practical classes at school and in clinics are led by senior medical technicians and medical workers with a university education. General subjects are widely represented, especially in the first two years of education. Students receive a good general education that allows them to enroll in all faculties and colleges. A nurse - technician has the closest direct contact with the patient. Patient care, kindness, and a kind word are their main job. They prepare the patient for contact with the doctor and carry out the orders received from the doctor.

Because of all the above, employment opportunities are great. Our students can work in all dispensaries, health centers, home care institutions, patronage services, and in all hospital departments. A large number of our students are successfully employed abroad, where they are recognized and very successful workers.
